November 2011

CHILDREN IN NEED 24 HOUR NOISEATHON!!

In November, JOPSON BAILEY MUSIC ACADEMY hosted our most ambitious (ridiculous), event to date!

To celebrate and raise money for Children In Need 2012, us at the Jopson Bailey Music Academy made continuous music for 24 hours!

Kicking off at 4pm we powered right through Friday night and Saturday morning and rocked on until till 4pm Saturday 19th November.

A great time was had by everyone who attended, played or just came down to support us, and best of all we managed to raise £1,500 for Children In Need. We even had sereval visits from BBC North West tonight and BBC Radio Lancashire to help keep us going!

September 2011 JAM IN THE PARK was a massive success. Thanks to everyone who played and of course all of you lovely folk who came out to support the event. Check out the pictures in the gallery section of the website.

Jopson Bailey Music Academy are pleased to welcome our brand new drum tutor Jim Molyneux.

March 2011 Steve White visited Jopson Bailey Music Academy for two days of intense drum tution. He then rounded off the weekend with a great masterclass at The Mad Ferret. To check out the pictures click through to our facebook page!

We are thrilled to announce that drum legend STEVE WHITE will be visiting Jopson Bailey Music Academy for a full weekend of drumming tuition over the weekend of the 26th and 27th March 2011.

Steve has played drums with such greats as Paul Weller, Oasis, The Who and even Spinal Tap!

The one to one lessons are priced at £40 per hour, are extremely limited and on a strict first come first served basis so make sure you don't miss out on this opportunity.

November 2010 Chris Jopson and John Bailey recently took time out from music tuition for a trip over to BBC Radio Lancashire to talk about the good work going on at the music academy and how they met and also got into learning musical instruments.
